Gyudon is a Japanese dish in which thinly sliced beef and onions are simmered in a salty-sweet sauce and served over rice.
INGREDIENTS

- Rice : 200g
- Beef (sliced) : 200g
- Water : 1 cup
- Soy sauce : 3 tablespoons
- Mirin : 1 tablespoon
- Sugar : 3 tablespoons
- Sake : 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil : 1 tablespoon
- Red ginger : Appropriate amount
RECIPE
- Cook the rice.
- Cut beef and onions into bite-sized pieces.
- Grease a frying pan with oil and fry the onions.
- Add water, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and sake and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- When the broth becomes thick, put the ingredients and soup on the rice.
- Top with red ginger and you’re done.
SUPPLEMENT
Simmer for about 10 to 20 minutes so that the broth does not become thin.
If you like, you can add powdered chili powder to enhance the flavor.
