Ponzu

Ponzu is a Japanese seasoning made by mixing citrus fruit juice, vinegar, and soy sauce.
Generally, ponzu is ponzu without soy sauce, but ponzu with soy sauce is also called ponzu.
It is used as a sauce for Japanese hotpot dishes, as a dressing for salads, and as a sauce for gyoza dumplings.

INGREDIENTS

  • Vinegar : 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce : 1.5 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice : 1.5 tablespoon

RECIPE

  1. Add vinegar, soy sauce, and lemon juice to finish.
  2. Even if you add mirin or soup stock, it will be a delicious ponzu sauce.
