Sushi

A Japanese dish of rice flavored with vinegar, etc., topped with wasabi and seafood.
It is mainly eaten with soy sauce.
In general, nigiri sushi is famous, but there are other types such as pressed sushi and inari sushi.

INGREDIENTS

< SERVES 4 TO 5 >
  • Rice : 540cc(2.3cups)
  • Rice vinegar : 4 tablespoons
  • Salt : 1 and 2/3 teaspoons
  • Sugar : 2 tablespoons
  • Wasabi : moderate amount
  • Soy sauce : moderate amount
  • Sashimi fish such as salmon, amberjack, and horse mackerel : about 900g in total

RECIPE

  1. Cook the rice and steam it for about 10 minutes.
  2. Make vinegar by combining rice vinegar, sugar and salt.
  3. Transfer the rice to a bowl and add the mixed vinegar little by little while cutting.
  4. Cut the fish into rectangular pieces that are easy to eat.
  5. Take a bite-sized piece of vinegared rice, put wasabi on it, and put the cut fish on top.
  6. When eating, add soy sauce.
