Tonkatsu

Tonkatsu is a Japanese dish in which thick pork is coated with flour, eggs, and bread crumbs and deep-fried.
There is also a similar dish that uses beef, called gyukatsu.

INGREDIENTS

  • Pork (thick sliced loin) : 300g
  • Salt and pepper : Appropriate amount
  • Wheat Flour : Appropriate amount
  • Egg : 1
  • Bread crumbs : Appropriate amount
  • Vegetable oil : Appropriate amount

RECIPE

  1. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat pork in flour, beaten egg, and bread crumbs.
  3. Fry the pork in oil at 170-180 degrees.
  4. Cut the fried pork cutlet into desired size.

SUPPLEMENT

How to eat pork cutlet is often eaten as follows.

  • Put Chuno sauce
  • Eat lightly with grated radish and ponzu sauce
  • Put it on curry rice and eat it as “cutlet curry”
